What does the SC string in the remarks section mean?

METAR CYQX 011000Z 29012KT 20SM FEW011 BKN016 OVC030 M05/M07 A2955 RMK SC1SC4SC3
SLP015

Couldn't find it online and spoke to a couple of 20 year veteran WX guys and they had no idea either.
 
Its a Canadian unit of measurement for cloud cover.. on Canadian metars..

SC1 = stratocumulous 1 okta (okta = 1/8s)

SC4 = stratocumulous 4 okta

etc...
