Deadheading on ASA

I am getting sick and tired of scheduling not arranging my positive space ticket on a Deadhead that THEY assigned. :angryfire

For the past 5 or 6 times that I've Deadhead, I show up to the gate and politley request my ticket only to get the same response:

uhhh, your not in the skid.
uhh, you need to call company.
uhh, have you listed?
uhh, what's your rotation #?

Just checked TravelNet for tomorrow's DH and no frikkin' reservation!

Is anyone else getting this same (mis)treatment on Deadheads?

Sit back and enjoy the airport...unless it's your DH leg home. Otherwise just let their lack of planning screw up the already screwed up operation!

Exactly! Their screw-up. Let them fix it! Just check in, no reservation?, go sit down and wait. No call for you to board? Awww darn. Then call scheduling after the flight has pushed back!

Do you not think it better that you do it yourself? Otherwise, it can't you can't change it without their permission.

It happens all the time. No trips regs, so no compensation for time away from base, unless 1.5 per hour counts.

Same thing happens all the time at Comair. Your not alone.

One call does it all. Call scheduling 5 minutes before your deadhead flight leaves, and sit back and watch the show.
