Dead Ends / Blacklists

Howdy folks. Wondering if there are any companies in the cargo/regional sector that would be a smudge on a resume for reasons of bad operating practices, safety record, bad pilot-management relations etc.? In other words which operators could cause moderate-severe stagnation and blacklisting? Or is there no such thing as bad experience as long as your still alive? This is a bit of a loaded question. Thanks for the info.
