What about the west coast, seems like delta neglects everything west of the mississippi?

Only one city closing SLC-BTM (Bute, Montana) all the rest is just reductions 18% hit in SLC.
They keep adding more LAX routes slowly. LAX-OAK just started.

I have heard that DL wants to start feeding RJ service out West from DTW and east from ATL. Would be nice to see some West side flying again for ASA.

It's official. ASA losing 6 200s and 8 700s.

Yes, west side flying would be nice. West bases, too. The pay and QOL will have to rise significantly for me to tolerate this ping-ponging between cities fit for the set of a post-apocalyptic movie. Commuting has become nearly impossible and entirely stressful with the current loads. If ASA wants to keep pilots, they need to build some virtual domiciles in some (good) cities. It would save money for overnighting crew and its a cheap QOL booster. I can think of quite a few: ILM, TYS, CHA, LEX, AVL, SDF, etc, etc, etc.

Looks like a STL based airline will be flying for DCI (700's).

Regional/feed/contract/supplemental flying is just contract work and was never "your" flying in the first place.

Realize that and this is easy work.

It is just business.

I find myself wondering more and more if it isn't about time for SkyWest inc to tell mother D thanks but no thanks and go do their own thing.

Kidding... who knows...

The other stuff is true though.

Cmon... you have to know contracts continually change from mainlines to the carriers that supplement their flying.

Like I said, it's just business.

Remove the emotion and it's common sense.

All flying belongs to the mainline carriers and they can do with it as they see fit. It is "their" flying, no one else's.

Performance is going to suck for anyone having to do a lot of flying out of ATL.

Try having more and more shifted to JFK (and not even having a reserve base/ spare planes there to clean up the daily messes that is FAA flow conrtrol.)
