DayJet can't get pilots???

Got a call yesterday from a DayJet recruiter. I asked the lady how she got my info, because I have never applied to work at DayJet. She said:" I found your info on climbto350." I told her my stuff is over three years old there. Must be desperate. Just my opinion, but that Eclipse seems like a Ford POS.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I got a call out of the blue. I was surprised as well. They were looking for pilots for GNV and BCT.

No payscale yet. They are hiring all captains at $50,000/year. The woman I spoke to admitted that she could not yet tell me what year 2 pay would be. They are using 2 pilots/plane and may be hiring FO's in the future. If I recall their minimums were high compared to Net Jets and others - probably why they can't find anyone.

This company could have a good thing if they think outside the box. How many older pilots would just like to fly a few days a week and be home pretty much evry night. I would be inerested in a couple of years. I think that is where they should go with this.

Yeah, $50K will take you a long way in Boca Raton... Dayjet was designed for retired airline pilots...
