So, I was just offered a gig flying a Saratoga part time for a guy. I cannot find any leads on a good day rate. Given the fact that is a single engine land, I am not expecting the stars and the moon. Just want what is fair. I dont need the time, nor the employment. It was just a chance for side $. Thanks in advance!

300/day single engine piston
400/day twin engine piston
500/day turboprop
500/day SIC light jet
600/day type rated PIC light jet

Dude these rates are way low for the turboprop and higher.

As you know size is everything. If your local market is tight with more seats then pilots yes supply and demand will bring higher rates.
As both an employer and independent contract pilot I never pay less then what I demand for the same gig. Pilots undercutting one another's day rate is the worst thing for pay rate stability. Chief pilots who low ball contract pilots are the scourge of this industry.
