Not to many people know this but, the Saab was actually derived from the 1900. Yeah. It was originally the 1900E, but then some dudes from San Antonio and Linkoping made a few changes and viola!

Crap, do you know how many logbook entries I'm going to have to change.

i never saw the right side airstair before...which captain america plane is that??? That must be the one they use for special charters right?? Or for destinations that only have jetways that will work on the right side of the plane? Maybe I will get to fly it soon? Clear on one!!!

They are actually correct, the saab can only accommodate about 19 pax on a cold day at sea level.

You must be referring to the "A" model. The "B" model can take 34 pax, 3K lbs of fuel, a jumpseater, and bag--wait, where the heck are the bags?

I think in that case bags means JATO. ;)

I have seen that pic many times and never noticed that the stairs were on the wrong side. how funny! I must be management material.

Take a 1900, add a FA, then subtract 50 kts

They don't know what a 1900 looks like but I'm sure they can tell you to within the penny what they raked in last year. I think it's a problem with a lot of companies these days. People who are running them are only interested in $$, not what the business is about. Back in the day the CEO was passionate about flying and moving people from place to place. I think the passengers notice the difference too.
