What are the seat locks like at DAL? Are they longer if you bid an a/c that pays less (i.e. 757 to the md88)?

Thanks

This is my understanding of it.

There is no seat lock for the airplane assigned out of indoc. You could get the 88, fly it for a month out of training and then hold the 76 and bid over to that. There is then a 2 year seat lock.

2 years is then common moving from one fleet type to the next.

If you change from 76 domestic to international there is a 9 month seat lock I think. Going back to domestic there is none but still a full 2 years total between international and domestic 76 if coming off another fleet.

Thats about all I know.
