anybody think that the two mec's are actually bluffing the two managements/investors and pretending to not have a deal in order to sweeten the deal for all the pilots? that would be poetic justice...and taking a play from managment's playbook! one could hope!

Darn, I thought you were talking about DAL/NW getting together and taking the funding from AirFrance, KLM, and buy out Continental to strengthen the Skyteam.
 
No - the contract was agreed to quickly. The SLI has been the "hang up." I had heard the Delta team came home, but I guess they must be back at it.
