All new hires, the rehires bid separately

Do the recalled guys get anything they can hold? Didn't one guy get the 777B NYC last class?

13 76er Jfk
5 Md-88 Atl
5 Md-88 Nyc
1 Md-88/90 Cvg
3 76/75 (lax)
1 73 (lax)
3 73 (cvg)

interesting. one would think that if hiring really was going to stop, all nh's would go to nyc md-88, where, theoretically, they would all end up anyway after all the displacements/backward movement. Why else would the company waste money to train nh's on equipment that they might get kicked off of?

It tells me that they don't expect any displacements or backwards movement. All of the categories are understaffed even with the last bid, so they are putting people where they need them for the summer. Obviously the NYC M88B will be the most understaffed, but I'll bet hiring will start again this fall.

Just curious... through all the back and forth on the ALPA webboards between DAL and NWA, I've seen several people post their position as 777A, 777B, 767A, etc. What's the A and B? Thanks.
