24 hours later and still no payroll for the FlexJet pilots. Has management given any explanation, excuse or apology?

Wasn't it last year they said "finances are so intermingled, we couldn't possibly separate operations." Things that make you go, hmm.

They fired Macek and Regan for one single instance of "violating our core value of respect for one another". No second chance. So isn't this a violation of our core value of "paying fanatical attention to detail"? And since management have set the standard at no second chance, shouldn't there be terminations for violating our core value in this instance as well? At least they are consistently inconsistent!
 
It was not an ADP thing. The original problem is HR. They didn't correctly calculate our pay, so they had to go back and fix their errors. If they put as much effort into correctly paying us as they put into fighting the union, this would not have happened. And if they had acknowledged that human beings make mistakes with Macek and Regan, I wouldn't be calling them out now. But they demanded instant execution for those two, so why are they not doing the same thing now? Double standard.

I hear you, but one person in HR probably had nothing to do with the fight against the union or did they fire SM and KR.

Agreed, but I am referring to the standard management set when they fired M and R. M and R were fired for a first offense. So one mistake should now be the standard IF management really believe they were right. So why haven't they applied that standard this time? Because they know they were wrong! And warlord is now back from his butthurt cry fest. Welcome back, loser.

However, regarding payroll I'm in the ******************** happens camp as long as the aftermath is made right. Not that I will forget it, but I'm not particularly upset. If you are month to month at our level of pay then you've got bigger problems than we can address on Flight Info.

I did have to move some money around to cover bills and I would have appreciated a more direct approach from the company so this could have been done sooner. I barely made the processing deadline to do this otherwise I might have bounced a few items. The company should have individually called each pilot to alert them.

fwiw I believe EG was actively involved in anti-union matters.

This is really not a union or no union issue but I will say every time the company ********************s up, it gives the union people the opportunity to shine. When your whole business philosophy is built on concepts you can't deliver on (fanatical attention to detail, people come first yada yada yada) I expect more opportunities will present themselves. The union doesn't have to even address it. Let them company continue to ******************** up, sit back and enjoy the crow picnic your detractors will be forced to eat.

I hope the union people can capitalize on the PR trend of DAC bad decision after bad decision and make some forward progress announcements regarding the issues that are holding us all up, whatever the hell they are.

Suck it up Warlordy. You chose poorly. It's a darn shame what you did to yourself but the truth is you have no one to blame but yourself.
