34k a month...I STILL wouldn't do it.

reconsider.....

I am sure they make some special attachments for those water bottles!

uh...yep, that makes it even more appealing! Thanks Jeff!

I should have apologized in advanced...

I couldn't resist a pot-shot from the former greasy side of the ramp. Now it just seems to be greasy every where I go in this industry.

XXOO

Jeff

PS: Yes, I did wash my hands with anti-bacterial soap, first!

English, have not been in the bind yet.

I said I would not do the non-sked routine 25 years ago, but unemployment motivates different people in different ways. When you are making $250/wk loading cargo $50K per year flying cargo looks a lot different.

So you made the great escape to the scheduled world of the high tech regional jet. Lets see if you are a F/O, you are making about what $25K per yr? How long ago did you make this move, 1 year, 2 years? If you had stuck it out at in the on-demand business, you would be making about $50K-$60K per year, have a DA-20 type rating, be logging TJ PIC, and building a resume that will get a prospective employer’s eye. Almost anyone can be a F/O, TJ PIC separates the wannabes from the guys getting the interviews and the job offers. In my experience at USA Jet, no pilots have gone to a regional carrier. They wait to be hired by AirTran, Spirit, Jet blue, Kalitta 747, SWA, etc. On-demand means you can skip the low paying regional job. But if “Lifestyle" is more important than money, you made have made the right move for you. Only time will tell if it was a good move.

Jeff, so you are the cause of the rampant bacteria spread, helping those germs build up there immunity by constantly exposing them to a substance that increases their resistance to germ killers. I bet you even washed out the water bottles after you used them. Drafts are still a buck at the Lakeview during “Happy hour” they kill a lot of germs also.

That's why I have a college education - so I won't be loading cargo making $250 a week.

Now do you understand why pilots should have a degree to fall back on?
