Heard , second hand, that SB at Comair said that the company had just purchased $6 million in new buses and TSA approved routes so that Concourse A and B could be bypassed and passengers could go straight to "C" from Terminal 3. I think this was around the late July time frame.

DB at DCI told Comair that the lost money was negligible in the greater scheme which is to be the future.

The lost money on the buses and all the money fronted to FSI for the 70/90 training, which will now be lost on unused sim time, will just have to sucked up by Comair.

Yes. That's what all the new construction at Terminal 3 is all about...moving and expanding TSA to the top floor and building the new bus station that goes directly from Terminal 3 to Concourse C. The airport board voted to build all this at Delta's/Comair's urging so business exec's (think Toyota and P&G) would have faster access to C. Sucks to be the airport board...building a really cool "white elephant"!

(The plans for what they are building at Terminal 3 were on Epic last winter for about a week.)

Anyway, have a great Comair day and thanks for playing Delta Connection roulette!
