For those that haven't tried it... Famous Dave's on Turfway has pretty decent ribs and sauce. The other meat is good, it's just not as authentic as what ya get in TX, AL, SC, etc.

Close to Comair FBO

I've eaten at a Famous Daves in ATL and for a chain restaurant, thier BBQ is pretty frickin' good!

If you can settle for "Chain Restaurant BBQ" I would recommend Smokey Bones over Famous Daves... But that is just my personal preference...

Speaking of BBQ

I was in FTW this week and found a new....great BBQ just north of the airport off I-35 (about 5 minutes away). Called Shady Oak. Friday nights there is a live band, you can sit inside or they have tables out in the grass for the nicer days.

Tried the Sliced beef one night and the chicken the next day for lunch. Both great and filling! Extra sauce provided, the hottest loaf of bread you'll ever get at a restaurant, and the spicy texas beans are fantastic. (btw...just don't over do the beans folks! ;) :D )
