Ay matie, therein lies the problem!!
N585P has a MTOW of 58,156 with the ability to keel haul the fuel in an emergency!! However, me matie Carlos Rivera did not know you have to give the runway analysis company(APEX) tailored departure procedures!! The 580 will do more, but since company tailored departure procedures are not figured or specified they have to figure runway analysis figured on a straight out departure!!
Air Tahoma was aware of this, but blarney forgot to tell FedEx!! All they would have to done was notify APEX about the tailored departure procedure and they could have figured that out!! Air Tahoma shot itself in the blarney peg leg on that one!!
The airplane is also about 2000lbs heavier, and probably still have weak engines!! The great poseidon must be watching over those brave pilots!!
The 501D-13D is what Tahoma has, and does not have water injection!! Me parrot tails me N586P had it though!!
Ask Lee Holley why they lost so many engines last year??
