when i'm in management for the airlines im going to suggest the following in order to make my company more cost effective.

1. hotels-waste of time will provide tents for crews at the airport. camping is fun especially at the airport.
2. deadheading - crews pay for their own tickets. you're a passenger for gods sakes them pretzels and cokes you're drinkin ain't free.
3. pay of course minimum wage for all regardless of seniority. if you dont want to do it i'll go find a couple of illegals who will.
4. uniforms - surplus from mcdonalds
5, per diem - ???? what the f### is that. is that latin? whatever it is you aint gettin it.
6. vacation - yeah no. this whole job is a **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** vacation.

thats just a few of the ideas i've got rollin around in my noodle. i know the minimum wage is kind of generous ,i've already heard from some gulfstream folks who offered to pay the company to get some sweet flight time.

Well, hang on a second here. There may be one point of merit in this argument.

If we buy our own tickets, we can have Jack with our Cokes.

Really, it might make commuting almost palatable.
