Many 190 Captains jumped to the 320 in the most recent bid. This sent the 320 upgrade significantly more senior than the past few bids. Current 190 upgrade still sits about 2.5 years however 320 Captain went to about 4.5 years. This may just be an isolated event due to seat locks being up and 190 Captains now holding a similar QOL on the 320. Also the Sept. bid puts you in training in the winter, which for us northern living folks is nice. If you've gotta be in FL for a month winter is the time to do it. Or this could be the new trend and upgrades will normalize themselves for a while and the 190 will go back to being the jr airplane. Time will tell.

This is true. Last class had 25 in it. 16 320 and 9 190. Everyone in class could have held BOS or JFK and were the only options directly out of class. Next class will have 30 openings. Rumor is for about 350 new hires between Oct 1, 2015 and Dec 31, 2016.

That's awesome. Hopefully they'll call me.
