Hey folks, they are just about commercially dead now, but does anyone here ACTUALLY know if there are any outfits in the U.S. that are currently operating Twin Beeches, Part 135, anymore? Are Hankins and Phoenix Air Transport completely out of recip Beech 18s altogether now?

I still see some Beech 18's flying cargo around the Bahamas and south Florida. There is one abanded at Andros Island Bhamas I see in the weeds all the time. No one seems to know who it belongs to.

A bunch on floats out of Campbell River, BC. There was also some wierd mod that put a 400 series Cessna nose and tail on the 18, looked weird, but apparantly they had some handling improvements, as well as the large baggage area in the nose.

There was one running freight out of the Minneapolis area within the last year or so...whether they've changed their minds on that, I don't know...haven't seen it recently.
