Thank. I have looked there, but I was wanting more current info.

Guess that's it until the Midwest merger or lack there of...

not enough

was wanting more current info.

What do you mean by more current? Nothing has changed since the last contract and airlinepilotcentral info is as current as it gets.

It's all HERE

Based on all the flying jobs i have had.....this can be a very difficult one to answer. Flight instructing, colgan air, and allegiant air......each job i was hired along with other people hired on that same day/same class. I would say it is probably fact that no two people in my class have the same #'s on the W2 at the end of the year. I can only speak for the places i have worked. There are just so many factors.

Whether you live in base or not.

Senority.

Commuter or non-commuter.

Schedule preference.

Whether the company is adjusting pay or not. (this happens at all airlines)
either pay raise or pay cut. (pay freezes too)

Whether you take upgrade or not.

Whether you can get called for upgrade, or get the possible recommendation letters for upgrade.

Whether you can pass your upgrade or not.

Whether the company is short or fat on pilots.

QOL preferences.

I honestly think i would have a hard time estimating my W2 for next january right now within $10,000. Airline pilot pay online tells part of the story.

It's probably easier at stagnant airlines, (no growth, no shrinkage) to guess what you will make for the year. I wouldn't call airtran a stagnant airline.

Take the rate of pay, and multiply it by 1080 and that will get you pretty close to what you would make each year, if you are lazy like me and bid for max days off.

If you are the kind that picks up open time, you could add quite a bit more, 10-20% more.

fo pay

i can only speak on fo pay....3rd year scale...i fly roughly 900 a year and get paid about 1100..give or take ...it has been pretty close to about 200 hours more pay than actual flying...i do work a lot but still get half the month off, late shows, weekends off if i want and can still bring in a pretty good line average of about 85 hours give or take....some trip trading to add value here and there...typical stuff...oh and i live in base so no commute to bid around
