PA28-150 Warrior: digital radios/DME, G/S, ADF at $45/hr. your portion
OR
PA23-160 Geronimo: digital radios/DME, G/S, VFR GPS with map/HIS modes, new paint & interior at $75/hr. your share.
Practicing approaches, dual CRM, etc. for currency or building your time is all OK, but no “instructional based” flights please, you must be ME current.
Some long, “true cross-country” flights to SoCal or Gulf Coast also a possibility, with your return, or travel to the aircraft, via airline pass at co$t. This could be a painless way to knock out 7-9 hours, experiencing traffic and weather conditions other than sunny AZ.
