I am just curious if you application number gives any indication of how many pilots have really applied or there is no correlation between your application number and how many they have.

My number is greater than 14100. What range numbers are out there still, hopefully nothing to small.

Good luck on the 5th of March for the interview you lucky guys and gals

10444 applied Feb 02
I am sure its just a tracking # and if you have the hours you jump to the front. Otherwise I haven't been able to crack thier code. some people getting interviews have a lot more time then me, some less. Patience is key in this race.

10115 Baby!!! Don't I feel like a big shot (for once). Still haven't broken the code. I study that on-line application page for the slightest hint......nothing. :(

Speaking of the on line app. Has anyone else had a problem trying to update theirs? Every time I try to add my new employer the whole app shrinks to just the add and delete icons.

HAL9000,

It wouldn't accept my initial application (dated today) whatsoever! However, my e-mail reply from Jetblue said my accepeted computer application number is 19thousand something I'm confused... Did it take it or not? I'm hoping it did and bigger is better... or at least it's not the size of the application number but the motion of the papercuts..or something like that.

A friend of mine had the same problem. I think it might be your password. I don't think it will except anything but regular letters for a password. Thats how we fixed my friends.
The instructions say to check anytime you update your record by re-loggin and using the link on the bottom of the page. I think its on the work here page. An old problem occurs if you put an availability date that isnt in the future, ie but in March if you are updating. That field seems to default to today's month and has created problems in the past for people.
Give that a try.
I hope with number in the 19000s that doesnt mean that's how many applications are in their system. Could be a long time to get a call.
Whats the lowest number out there? So far its 10953, maybe the ten-thousands number is just a start field, so we are only looking at 9000 instead of 19000. Either way, wow alot of applications to be picked from.

Lifter,

Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a try. I'm guessing the app. numbers are dated from the first one they sent out when starting up. If that's the case perhaps they have already gone through 10K and only have 9K active files(if that's what you ment by field start never mind, my wife says I never listen either). Boy, that sounded more promising in my head than it looked on paper...

FWIW, the Chief Pilot told us recently that there are around 4500 applications on file, so I wouldn't put too much thought into the actual application number given on any particular electronic based application process.

Best of luck to all!

From the Glass Half Full Dept.

Eagle Flip,
Thanks for that info.
Being in the low 12k range I just moved up by about 7500 spots with your post. Haven't had that much action in months, might be a good day to buy a lottery ticket :)

You know I tried changing my password and date of availability and the stupid thing still says try to appy later. It's probably a dumb question but does anybody have a phone number at JB for HR or someone that can sort it out?

Thanks,

Counselair

Anyone have an idea how to get your password from jetBLue if you "somehow" forgot it?

Thanks in advance!

On the login screen there is a spot for a link to "forgot your password". It should send you something to your email address. Try that.

My app number is 13514

App was dated 12/03. I have Airbus time, but I would guess that this is just a number and doesn't really mean anything as to when you may get the call. Just my humble guess?

Good luck to everyone!
