CRJ Smoke in the cabin question?

My roomate flies the ERJ-145 for CHQ. He told me this story:

On a CHQ flight a man was having a heart attack. The flight attendant (probably straight out of a Taco Bell in Gary, IN) layed the man in the isle (probably on his side) and put a PBE on his head, and then activated it. This insead of giving him oxygen.

I never thought it was that funny, until I got hired on at a regional. In ground school we had to put a PBE on and fight a small fire.

That is pretty funny. She is lucky she didn't kill him.
