My advice is to find a manual and study it until the cover falls off. I did that before class, and I only had to do about 1 hour of "review" every night as opposed to everyone else's 6 hours of intense studying. My stress level was very low, since I was familiar with the subject matter and had a good grasp on the systems. It made class a much more enjoyable experience. I was never worried about falling behing and being left in the dust.
