Give the country Inn and Suites a call 281 987 2400. If they are booked try comfort suites 281 442 0600. 48$ out the door, 10 minute van drive.

In 07 the Sleep Inn (which is a POS) was something like 30 bucks a night

The Marquis Hotel had a pretty cheap crew rate a few years ago. It's low quality, but tolerable. The place looks like a dorm, but it did the job when an ice storm shut IAH down. 281-446-9131.

IAH Marriott is about 60. no van ride needed! call a few days in advance to get it though

Comfort Suites isn't too bad, like it better than the Sleep Inn and is the same price, almost the same location.

It's nice if you're gonna be there a while, decent free breakfast, fridge and microwave in the room with a little sitting area that has a couch.

Just under $60 out the door.

I believe it's a Ramada now. Supposedly it's had a renovation, with the same deal the Marquis offered. After 10 stays, the 11th is free.Phone number is still the same.
