Can anyone help with some info on crew hotels around MCO with reasonable rates? Thanks!

How about just call them. There are only a few hotels around there.

Might have been a while since you've been there but there are about 20 or so now off of Semoran, getting really built up. Country Inn and Suites used to be sub $50 a few years back...maybe start with them.

Priceline (PL) is still the way to go...Just be warned, this is the time of the year when Hotels can be hard to come by between the conventions and Spring break with all the kiddos!

If you bid 3.5 stars on name your on price in the "Orlando International Airport" location, you can do pretty good at the mid $50's (we used to get the HOTEL in the Airport at 45 but haven't tried it in a while. All the other hotels caught on, that the "number" was 45 and they lowered their rate to that. Priceline at 54 plus the fees is equal to what the "Employee Rate" is everywhere! (generally 63 plus tax) UNLESS you are willing to stay at the Ramadan (Ramada Suites), it was less but nowhere close to as nice!

If you look at the "Express Deals" on PL and the 3.5 star location has over an 8+ star rating and has "No bus" in the amenities, it's the Hotel in the Airport. It often shows up at 54 plus fees! Well worth the money since the other places vans only leave on the hour and half hour SO it means a little extra sleep.

(WORD OF CAUTION) on PL, Do not bid Airport West, for a while guys were getting "Florida Mall Hotel" at $45 and it has no VAN!!! $20 cab ride each direction!!!

Good Luck,
KBB

airlinehotelrates.com

This a pretty good website that has most of the hotels that have an airline rate. You can also book it right on the site. No direct calling the hotel.
