This was announced for Feb:

From CVG to:

SRQ, DCA, ORD, OMA, DFW, GSP, MSP, PHL, SDF and TYS.

Flame away!

It's cool though, it's intraunion transfer of opportunity--or so I am led to believe.

Please don't start the "ASA pilots stole flying from Comair" stuff.

It really sucks that they are going anywhere, but we all know ASA pilots didn't have jack to do with getting those airplanes. In fact, I bet it's killing Jerry A. to give ASA 8 of the 12 planes...I guess he couldn't figure a way to make it work for SW to do all the flying.

Remember, management is the one who bids on flying not pilots.

Ignorance IS Bliss!

Why do you have to sound so ignorant and uneducated! The pilots have nothing to do with the routes. If it were their would be alot of nonstops from Visalia to DCA. Have a great year expand your worls just a bit as well!

As an ASA pilot, I can say WE DO NOT WANT ANY of Comair's flying, not THIS WAY! We support Comair pilots in every aspect of their struggle against the ridiculous race to the bottom, and we applaud their efforts to prevent the destruction of this profession.

We don't have any say in the matter, now shut the hell up.

End of flame.

We are NOT happy about it and only hope for the best. I agree with what was said earlier, I know that JA is PO'd he had to give us 8 of the 12. Not in line with his plan to break the Union. All ALPA carrier's need to stick together. I believe in John Prader. I think he is JUST what the doctor ordered! I hope only for the best for the Comair group.

So I guess no one picked on on the sarcasm. Oh well. BTW, there are no CR7 flights between ATL and CVG, so there's going to be a fair amount of deadheading going on. ASA does service some of those outstations with CR7s from Atlanta though.

I doubt any Comair pilots believe ASA pilots are stealing Comair's planes/flying. I believe most are intelligent enough to see it for what it is...Delta flexing what little muscle Delta has.

We do not want to is just anothe bs excuse and you know it. Why waste their time by telling them that, how about saying you'll just be in maintenance if you get one of their jets to fly. It's not that hard.

What about when the ASA pilots WHO were holding out for the RFP of 2003. ASA said HELL NO KISS OUR A$$ and the comair pilots voted in CONCESSIONS FOR GROWTH.. TOOK a pay freeze for the promise of growth.. look where that got you....

No Sympathy.....

All regionals are bottom feeders and the toilet bowl spiral to the bottom will never end..... FACE IT, COMAIR IS NEXT..... AND THE COMPANY YOU WORK FOR WILL BE RIGHT AFTER THEM... THEN YOUR COMAPY AND YOUR COMPANY AND YOUR COMPANY....

If you are getting someone elses flying you are a WHORE, if you are losing flying you are sacrificial lamb... the whole regional business was started to supplement mainline flying in the first place... so we are all WHORES fighting over WHORED out flying to begin with.....

We'll be in maintenance when it is necessary to be in maintenance, no short cuts, just by the book. As for saying bs to my comment, what do you know about the feelings in the regional industry? Speak from experience or stay away. Once again, shut up unless you have some useful comment to share.

That's great, help out your Comair brothers by writing up trivial crap on the plane that he is trying to commute home on. That'll show em.

This post has more drama than Britney, Lindsay and Paris drunk at a nightclub...good lord almighty

So...ASA takes flying and it can't be the pilots fault. Everyone sticks up for them on this thread. SkyWest gets flying from elsewhere, and we, the pilots, are all whores. Kind of hypocritical if you ask me. I'm not happy that our growth is the result of someone else's downfall. But, any thread about this topic turns to bashing us. Guess there has to be something to gripe about on here. Then again, it is just FI.

Yes, because we are not undrcutting anybody with our wages in order to secure said flying! Big difference.

The bashing of SKYW pilots was a result of their willingness to fly for "One Rate", not stealing routes or airplanes. That is Management all the way. The pilot group had the choice to undercut their pay rate so management could afford thoses routes and planes.

Here I'll help you out...

ASA...What a bunch of SCABS!!!

You can thank me later.

Perhaps I've been out of the regionals for too long, but, doesn't all of that flying technically belong to Delta?
Don't they control who does what?

PS never worked for either company so I don't have any alliance to either, just a curious outsider.
