Wow, my hat is off to these 2 guys (CP and DO). First time in my 13 year career I've seen management pilots stand up for PILOTS instead of pleasing corporate bigwigs/lackeys or the share holder.
They probably werent getting paid anyways........they did the right thing!

Just to make sure everybody gets it right. PO the Do and JC the CP stepped down.

the VPFO is a @#$%^& from Skybus. He's the companies ONLY qualified Captain and is likely glad that no mgt FO's are current.

Thanks PO and JC

VPFO FUPM

Isn't the Skybus guy a resigned USAIRWAYS pilot?

Any Navy guys here that can check his name and record? Chris Grazel

ok so I have to ask.....this guy did not resign his position as VPFO? Did he walk the line with everyone or stay in his office? If he did not resign like the DO and CP were his intentions to fly for the company if the situation presented itself?

he was going to fly...and I'm pretty sure he completed his IOE but the other guy he was going to fly with was green so they couldn't fly anyway.

So now he gets to keep his mgt position.....on top of that get more money for doing that job thanks to every other pilot? Guess he could go lower than when he was the ACP in DCA back in 2001. Does he still commute from orf?

I met JC today in FLL. In just the few minutes I talked to him, I could tell he's a stand-guy and that the Spirit guys respect him. I envy working for a CP like that.

JC is a terrific guy and was a good CP, he had ZERO lee way to go the extra inch (which is in no way his fault) all due to the owners and their contempt for us pilots.
