TAIL WHEEL PILOTS NEEDED for Spring/ Summer banner season. East coast- West coast. Up to $50/hr. plus housing. Fax resume FL/(954) 989-2391; call Tim or Nat (954) 989-2086

If the contact person, 'Tim', mentioned for this position is Tim Pacini - then don't waste your time (do a forum search for Aerial Messages) - all Tim wants is your money!

Not the same Tim, this is the largest banner towing co. in the world, formerly Aerial Sign, now Van Wagner Aerial Media down in Hollywood FL, North Perrry airport. They have a fleet of 30 or so 180 Horsepower J3, J5, PA-12 Cubs and Super Cubs. I flew for Aerial Sign back in 98 and 99 and made $40. an hour my last season, a great place to work.

The Tim you're talking about is up in Daytona and only flys a couple of Cessna 172s.

The other co. is up in Ocean City MD, I flew out of his field a few times, he also has a fleet of Super Cubs and had a Scout, seemed like a good guy to work for also.

BANNER PILOTS SUMMER '05. Tailwheel time a must. Hosing provided. Earn up to 500 hours in 3 months. MD & DE beaches. MD/(410) 641-2484.

If pay was this good, wouldn't there be a line of guys the length of the east coast waiting to sign up? I know a guy that tugged banners in NJ and made around $10 hr.

They paid me $40. an hour the summer of '99 for towing on the east coast from N. Carolina to Massachusetts.

The pay is probably $50. an hour for the 16 hours a week you will fly (weekends only).

If you're going to tow banners, work for the BIG companies with the national contracts and you make the BIG $$. Your friend obviously wasn't.
