I've been doing a little bit of looking on the net. It seems that 90% of places that are hiring around the world require a JAA/ICAO license except Japan.
I've also noticed that many of them have highly inflated minimums. Such as ANA's Q400 FO job. 1500 TT/1500 PI /Type-rating/ No helicopter or military time allowed.....etc. This is for an FO position? In a turboprop?
Anyway, I've heard that the JAA transition is a nightmare and it costs a bundle. So, where can you go with an FAA ticket and find a job?
Aloha.
