Quick question....well actually a couple.

What are competitive mins at flight options? Would they even look at a resume with 1800TT 700ME 325Turbojet 115Turboprop?

I'm at Comair right now. Careerwise, would a move to a frac operator be a smart choice or a shot in the foot?

Pardon my Naiveté and thanks in advance.

I think you should post this in the Fractional Section instead of the Corporate Section. Flight Options is a Fractional Operator not a Corporate operator, they are apples and oranges.

Good Luck!

Hey Big D Coopers Rocks!!!
52Vincent, If Big D is on the same page as me, Coopers is the BEST BBQ place there is. They are located in Mason and Llano Texas, west of Austin. The Mason location is the original and the most consistent in quality, IMHO. You can check out www.texasmonthly.com and see the reviews for them, as well as many others in the May issue. If ya'll can ever get down there, you will not regret the trip. See ya!

Yep - TX_Pilot is right on. Cooper's is a BBQ joint that I frequent. I haven't been to the one in Mason, only the Llano location. I find that the BBQ is best (in Llano at least) on the weekends, when there are tons of people eating. I think the higher turnover of meat contributes to the quality.

I've spent so many weekends in Llano for BBQ, the weekend airport manager, Larry, recognizes my voice on UNICOM! He sometimes tells me to make a low pass over Cooper's to tell him what the lines look like. If you're ever in line and see a Duchess roar overhead at 500' - that's me.

I figured this thread was a good candidate for a hijacking. :D

The funniest thing is that no one has actually started a dedicated BBQ thread, BUT there are probably 500+ BBQ related posts on the message board!

LOL!!!!!! :p :p :p

The way I see it, a good BBQ connoisseur should be able to sniff out (pun very much intended) a BBQ conversation within an unrelated thread.

I figure a dedicated thread would just get overrun by BBQ posers! :p

You are correct!!!!!!!

All those guys who pour a little Open Pit on some meat and try to claim its real BBQ.... Darn Posers!

Or perhaps, even a message board dedicated specifically to bbqs, divided into texan, brazilian, etc. and charcoal brands, etc.

You'd you run all the other flightinfo sections into bankrupcty!!!!

Crash-Proof, NOW you are on to something!!!!!!!!!

Enough of all this airplane non-sense!!!

Mmmmm... I can't wait to go to Brazil next month and get some "BBQ" (Down there Brazilian BBQ, Churrascaria, is simply BBQ, and it is served Rodizio style by Gaucho's)

I have tried the ribs at three Lone Star's, but IMHO, they are not up to speed.

The ones you want to really avoid are TGI Friday's ribs. ug.

Try the Damon's. They are generous AND meaty. Monday is "endless rib night". All you can eat for around $17!!

You guys are killin me. My wife woke me up the other night after I had been on the computer and asked me why I was walking in my sleep, carrying homemade BBQ sause, a brush, and what in the world I was doing basting her arms!

Now I gotta think of another excuse tonight:D
