I'm presently flying domestically for a 121 airline, however I am about to interview for a corporate job. I was told that I should have some familiarity with the following subjects;

RNP-5 & RNP-10 = Required Nav Performance
MNPS = Minimun Nav Perf Spec
RVSM = Reduced Vertical Separation Mins

I know very little if anything about these things. If anybody could fill me in, I'd appreciate it. Or let me know where the best resource might be to learn about it. Thanks for your input.

Make sure that (if you have time) go to the home page of atp-130 from the above post all check any of the info you feel might help. Mobie

Hey mobie,

your profile indicates that you are most likely a retired fellow.
You must be over 60 years of age.

It looks like you flew for airlines also.

In all honesty, have you gotten any bites from any corporate flight departments?

I am going to work for a 121 airline. I don't know if it is the right move at 50 years old. I will make no money until I am 60.
Then your out.

I wonder if Corps or 135 folks call you.

It makes me wonder if I should just find a corporate charter job or (if God would smile on me) a nice Corporate job. The reason is I think if I could fly a corporate job now, It would be possible to fly till I am 65 or so.

What are your feelings,

Thanks

After 60

Just turned 60, but have an offer for G-V school next month. If everything works out should be back working and flying over the pond soon. After 38 years of airline flying looking forward to bringing home hotel soap again. Mobie

Dear Mobie,

Thanks for the input.
I don't feel comfortable for my next move, but it's all I could find.

Its good to hear that there is some opportunities after 60.

God Bless
