Greetings All,
Anyone have any ideas on companies or websites, where I can get a model of an 800XP?
Thanks mucho,
G

I've had models made of every aircraft I've been typed in, 10 to date, all have been made through Anderson Fine Scale Replicias, except the last, and that was with Pacific Aircraft (www.warplanes.com). Pacific custom made my plane for me, hand carved out of mahogany and painted in company colors, for $310, including shipping and a stand. The airplane measures about 18 inches long and 16 inches wide.

The last model I ordered from Anderson's was never produced. I paid them $325 upfront and they never delivered the airplane or gave me my money back. Anderson's ended up selling their business to a guy in Dallas, Griffin Aerospace, but like me, there are probably 999 other customers looking for refunds or an airplane from Griffin, so good luck getting something from him.

I'll be ordering another airplane from Pacific very soon, they do great work and they produced the model within 12 weeks. I'm sure Sporty's is produced elsewhere, all they do is add on $100 for their services, so go direct to the manufacture.

Thanks Mr.Fokker....I do appreciate it....

If you haven't already decided, give asian imports a try. (www.asianimportscorp.com). The company I work for had ordered approx 12 Citation X models from the company. They all have our custom paint job, plus the company logo and our name (Captain So and So), on the base. The model is custom made out of wood in the Philippines. The X model is your standard display model size. Since it was a large order, we paid $170 a piece. I think they are around $200-$225 for individule orders. Since it is hand done with wood, the curves probably aren't as perfect as the plastic models, but if price is a factor, you can't go wrong with the wood one. I can say it is the center of attention in my "I love myself" room.

Much Thanks....

Thanks guys....You all rock!!!

You the same Gumby that was at Avolar? Are you working? I sure hope so...

Good Luck. Thanks again for what gouge you could give me on the Avolar interview, though it lead to nothing...
