After 14 years in the majors and a furlough later I'm looking at some different possibilities. They require applications and flight time breakdowns. I never did keep night or instrument time after the first 6 months and was wondering if there are any gauges for converting total time into night and instrument time.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I don't understand. You're looking for general guidelines to make up the numbers? Something like, "on average, 11.3% of the total flight time reported by candidates was instrument time"?

According to the FAR/AIM you are only required to log the required to stay proficient. Since you have been flying for 14yrs just list that, then explain it in the interview of why you have such low time. Should be no problem at all.
