Hi all,
Jumper52 here. I have a question for anyone that can help me out with this one. Friend of mine is thinking of starting contract A&P business venture. Been a mechanic for 25 years with 121, 135, and 91 experience. Thoughts on what to charge hourly and for his time, plus good and bads of the idea? Would be in the southern U.S. Thanks,

Jumper52

I would not do it.....

Can not afford the insurance to be bonded for work.
The pay rates would be determind by the geographic location and the type of tech (avionics, electrical, airframe, engine).
