At FDX our contract will become amenable in June 2004. I would like to compare what we currently have with other air carriers. I will post some of our current compensation provisions here. Hopefully, some of you folks at other carriers will do the same?
Current Pay Rates:
B-727
Capt. F/O S/O
Year 1 137.50 47.49 47.49
Year 7 156.74 103.92 88.28
Year 15 169.31 122.52 105.11
MD-11/DC-10/A-300
Year 1 161.96 49.29 47.49
Year 5 181.75 116.37 98.36
Year 10 186.80 129.48 111.82
Year 15 196.42 139.24 119.53
We have a contractural pay raise coming up in December 2003. It should be about $10/hr.
Per Diem is 1.85/hr domestic 2.65/hr international.
International override is $6.50/Capt $4.50/FO $3.50/SO
Minimum pay per duty period is 3CH. Trip rig is 6CH/day. Duty rig is 1 for 2 with a multiplier for night and early (0100-0500) flying.
Monthly CH averaged throught the year is about 90. Maybe a little less. Some would probably say that is high but a regular line guy gets about 1000CH/ year, including training pay and carryover.
B Plan is 6%
401(k) is 10% with $500 company match (pathetic)
A Plan is 50% of the average of your best five years at FDX. Based on a 25 year carreer. Currently capped at $140k.
Currently upgrade to 727 FO is about 2 years. Widebody FO about 3-4 years. 727 Capt in 6-7 years and Widebody Capt. in 10 years (quicker if you want to fly out of Subic Bay, PI).
Line holders average 12-13 days of flying in a 28 day bid period.
Reserve is 15 days/month for 28 day bid periods.
What's going on in the rest fo the world?
