This allows you to see the Approach Lights etc. and continue descending (not lower than 100ft below DA) until the Runway Environment is in sight.

I've been teaching that for about 3 years



Uhhh...note to self: call all students in past three years to clarify.

Well, the rule does say that the pilot must USE both the ILS and the PAR to use this provision. Seems like to use it you'd have to be approved in your ops specs to do so, doesn't it?
