Apply for a Flight Officer position with Continental Airlines through Airline Apps.
Continental Airlines has joined Airline Apps as the newest Participating Airline and is now accepting pilot applications through the Airline Apps system. Continental anticipates the need to hire a significant number of pilots during the second half of 2005 and IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR HIRING CONSIDERATION.
The following are the minimum qualifications to apply for a pilot position:
Pilot Members with existing applications may instantly apply by selecting “Continental” in their Job Targeting section. Users that have previously completed a single-application may now choose to upgrade to an AirlineApps membership for access to our timesaving data copy feature.
Not only do members avoid the hassle of re-typing data, but greatly benefit from the convenience of always accessing only one, single-source account for completing updates for multiple participating airlines. As with each of our participating airlines, you may select “single application” to apply with no application fees and each applicant may fully complete Continental’s application process at absolutely no cost.

- 1,500 hours fixed-wing total flight time
- 1,000 hours fixed-wing PIC time, or 500 hours PIC time and 500 hours SIC time in a turbojet
- 1,000 hours fixed-wing turbine time
- 1,000 hours fixed-wing multi-engine time (civilian or military) or 1,000 hours single-engine military fighter jet time
- Successful completion of the ATP written exam
- Current first class FAA medical
- Bachelor's degree is highly desired
