If it's not possible, then I suppose you'd better not take your 19 month old child on an airplane. That's why God invented the minivan.

If you can't deal with the public, that means children included, charter your own airplane and you can have all the peace and quiet in the world. If you don't want to spend the money for the charter suck it up and deal with it. People with children have just as much right fly as people without little ones.

This is a video of the mom and the "Sweet Child" on abc news.

You tell me if you think the kid acted anything like he did on tv, while on the plane what would you do? The kid is a monster. I have a 2 1/2 year old, I know how my son acts and he would never act like this. Parenting goes along way. Looks like the poor mom and baby skit backfired on the News. HAHA

Now here is a precedent we want to set. Lets kick anybody with kids off an airplane if the kid opens their mouth even once. Even better, lets pass a law that all kids must be medically sedated before flying. I guess its not the passengers that create the need for pilots. Maybe the airlines can fly around completely empty and our jobs would be great. Oh wait, we wouldn't have jobs. Anybody makes a sound on my plane is geting the boot, end of story. I am a FA, hear me roar.

Awesome congrats with that~~ J/k

Nobody said kids shouldn't be allowed on airplanes. Bottom line is none of us has heard the F/A side of the story. She may very well have been out of line but IF she thought he or she was causing so much of a disturbance that she couldn't do her job then that's another story.

None of us know all the details, but . . .

So, Rez, what is your solution?

Are you going to pull into the deice pad and conduct interviews as Captain/Inspector/Detective?
Are you gonna leave the cockpit so you can assert your authority so some uppity FA doesn't think she can control you?

Are you afraid of FAs taking over??? Running amok?

How about, "What's that? You say you were threatened? We'll go back to the gate and sort it out."

Don't know how? What me to tell you.... well....do ya punk!!

Many people seem to ignore this simple solution and have more kids "because they want them". I want a Corvette but I can't afford it so I don't have one. I want a dog but I can't take care of it right now so I don't have one. Hello? It's a simple concept.

I have no tolerance for screaming babies. I think I may have a breakdown when I have some of my own. That screaching in my ear is enough birth control for me.

Marry me! :D

Another human sacrifice.!! This one is willing, able and aware!

How do you propose that minivan get me and my family back to the US from my duty station in Europe?

Is there a bridge out there for "families with young children" that I don't know about?

I'm pretty sure you could drive the minivan onto a ship and get it across.

No, that's what the mother claims he was doing. If you watch the video of her and the little brat on that morning show then you'll see that this kid is far from a well-behaved little angel. The producer had to take the kid off screen so they could continue the interview with the "mother."

Time for parents to start acting like parents again.

Does that mean your parents did a poor job? Were they the ones that weren't acting like parents?

Sorry.....I know there are evil Flight Attendants out there but THERE IS NO WAY IN HE!! I would believe that any Flight Attendant would have the plane go back to the gate if some kid was merely saying "bye bye plane". GMAFB! You know the kid was probably being a terror.

Maybe he was saying "bye bye airplane, BOOM!.
