Let's hope this starts the ball rolling for them to become the every day tool we all want!

Actually we can use them, flew one the other day. They just are not a substitute for the flight bag until all the aircraft are equipted. Works awesome.

They work but we're not allowed to use them for anything but play. I can't wait to ditch the books.

I flew with EFB's (no paper Jepps period, with the exception of enroute charts) at one of the fractionals. They are not the 100% panacea that people think they are. You give up one set of problems for another.

I'm envious. Before the merger we were working toward getting them. Know instead of EFBs we just had our flight bags increase by about 2 lbs. Oh joy.

The funding for class 2 EFB was just approved for the Continental 757 and 767 fleet. The installation will start this fall.

The thing I am looking forward to the most is NO REVISIONS.
