I was asked yesterday about a company that will assist in finding the right aircraft, size, performance, DOC, et al...

I know the NBAA has something along those lines for its members, but is there such a creature for the little fish?

Were stepping up from a Lear 60 to a super-mid-sized jet. Right now its either a Hawker 4000 or Challenger 300, but the owner is open to other comparable options.

I'm not involved in the process but was asked if I knew of a reputable company that could help out.

Drew Callen at Boston Jet Search is one of the best I've seen and no...we're not related.

He doesn't sell a/c, he only works with buyers and has been in the business a long time (27 years I think).

You'll be inudated with aircraft salespeople looking for a commissionable transaction. Drew usually works on a fixed fee.

Thanks, I'll look him up.

From what I know, from my limited discussions with him, he was looking at the Hawker 4000 until I presented him with some info on the Challenger 300.

He hasn't mentioned any other planes until he asked about the consulting company. I'm sure he would be open to any super-mid sized jet though.

The only requirements I know are set in stone is the range, at least 3,000 NM, and the bigger cabin.

Thanks guys, I've forwarded all the info to my boss.
