Guys:

For those that know any of the guys at COP at IAH, they just layed off 4 pilots in Houston, several line staffers, Safety specialist(s), dispatcher, and some FA(s)... Do not know the exact numbers for a total, but more is one the way, from what I am hearing...

Good luck all... Lend a hand if you have any openings or know of something for any of these guys... Pass it along... I know that there are a lot of people out there looking...

you gotta be sh1ttin' me, ConocoPhillips?

who is next, Exxon? FedEx and UPS already rumored (or actually are...) to lay pilots off.

Who is next? Air Force One's pilots?

the secure of the secure-jobs are no longer

They had four G's lined up wingtip to wingtip at IAD a few weeks ago and I was pondering what a great job that must be, even if it's in Houston. ;)

I was laid off from my G job Monday AM and was hoping that I was on the tail end of the madness. If CP has to downsize nobody is safe.

Misery loves company.:smash:

That sucks! More unemployed pilots in HOUSTON. How the h-ell am I ever going to be able to get a job here now?

I haven't flown in a long time.

4 pilots, 4 f/a's from what I heard. Pretty much parking one plane. Well keeping it in the rotation but operating with one less.

Anyone know anything about WMI, APA, or APC across the 15's?

Sucks though. Best of luck to everyone out there.

I just spoke to one of the APC guys yesterday and know their director very well. They are good. As long as oil stays at or above 40.00, they are good. He said they are lean anyway... Three airplanes and six pilots...

Your news on COP is correct, but several more people... Maintenance guys, line guys, safety guys and scheduler...
