NORTH SLOPE PILOT RESPONSIBILITIES Pilots Twin Otter or CASA 212 airplane under the supervision of the Captain during day, night, VFR and IFR conditions. Maintains a high level of knowledge of airplane systems and procedures. Responsible for the safety, comfort and efficient transport of passengers. Performs duties as First Officer outlined in the ConocoPhillips Operations Manual and as required by the Captain. Will be an active member of the Aviation department, contributing ideas, time and recommendations for change and improvement. Responsible for keeping abreast of developments within the aviation industry and the impact these developments may have on the operation. Assists in problem solving and accomplishing additional duties effectively and on time. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Represents ConocoPhillips Aviation by maintaining open lines of communication with North Slope personnel. Professional and ethical conduct at all times, whether working within the department or functioning externally. Will be expected to participate in non-flying projects or to work in developing new technologies associated with aviation. QUALIFICATIONS High school degree or equivalent required. Possess demonstrated knowledge of aviation industry activities, regulations and practices. Airline Transport License and current First Class Medical Certificate required. 5000 hours total time to include 1000 hours of Multi-Engine turbine or turboprop experience, 3000 hours Pilot in Command experience. Twin Otter, CASA 212 and/or North Slope flight experience is preferred. Special Skills, Training, & Certifications 7 on / 7 off schedule.
