Just curious, was flipping thru the June 2, 2006 issue of Executive Controller and saw on pages 122 thru 124 the following airplanes for sale

N809C - G4
N6667P - G4
N668P - Falcon 50EX

just wondering whats going on....(could be old news)

has it ever occured to you that they could be selling their aircraft to upgrade to newer equipment? Think about it, record oil profits, and you get rid of your flight department?!?!?!

does not compute!

well they are selling pretty nice equipment, late model large biz jets

thats why I asked about the "disbanding" part

I suppose they could be moving up to G-5's or BBJ's, but....

This is how rumors are fueled. If you don't have any facts don't provide speculation.

Ahhh, the truth is brought to light.

Although, we could come up with something juicy like "they're disbanding the flight department because they are being bought out by the Saudi Royal Family who will use NetJets in the future."

Right on about speculation - save it for the yahoo chat rooms.

OH! THE HORROR!!!

Oh, wait, that's good news.

Never mind... :erm: ;) TC

I doubt it. Earlier this year Connoco-Phillips bought Burlington Resources, another Houston based energy company. Connoco took almost the entire BR flight department. There is one last Burlington plane remaining for sale but none of the above N numbers were BR planes.
