Connections in FRA

Anyone have advice on getting from the Delta arrival gates to the Lufthansa gates in FRA? There is a flight that gets in to FRA at 735am at the D or E gates and then we are connecting to a LH flight at 815. The guy at LH res seemed to think it could be done, but I am not familier with the airport.

Ive been through Frankfurt and its huge, i remember having to walk 15 minutes to get from the Delta ticket counter to the departure gate so if I were you I would put on a good pair of running shoes and get some new tires for your rollerbag. there should be a bus that takes you between terminals so maybe if you dont have any delays and a theres no lines at the counter you might make it.

There is a train or bus that goes between the terminals, I cant tell if I have clear immigration and go thru security again though. If we can just do an international transfer it would simplify things.

Unfortunately I think you'll have a hard time to catch that flight, with only 40 minutes between flights. You have to go through immigration since FRA is your first point of entry into Europe. Try and see what the next LH-flight looks like. You should however definetevely try though, on the 08.15 flt...you might be lucky! I have been commuting (non-rev) through FRA for many years and it's a HUGE airport. Good luck!

Thanks for the info, the next flight is at 1230, and it has room also. It is just a matter of leaving the states early and trying it or leaving on a little later and taking the 1230 flight.

Probably will try if the loads stay good....
