The mins seem to be changing

Hey Jeff, what are the mins?

AAY has hired furloughed pukes like me with lots of time in type to canyon runners with no 121 time at all. However, at the present time they seem to be hiring folks with around 4000 - 5000 hours. Internal recommendations help a lot.

Upgrade had run to as much as 1.5 years, but will most likely be around a year with the A/C acquisitions.

Check out the "Allegiant News" thread

It has more info.

Mail your resume or Fax it in.

"Our employees sleep in their own beds every night, which is something they really like," Gallagher said.

That's my favorite part. Sounds pretty nice.

Hey chperplt, seems I know more Allegiant pilots than almost any other airline. Guess I'll finally have a chance to meet you!

Allegiant Air, a quality run organization!

Congrats to Randy, I have spoken to Jeff as well, he is a supper nice guy! I interviewed with Allegaint last year for a dispatch position, narrowly missed getting hired then.
The SOC management folks are class acts, I kept in touch with them over the past year and they invited me me to come back out last month to interview again.
I dont want to bore you all with alot of details, but let it suffice to say that things changed with the job opening in the last minute and they were not able to hire as planned at that time and since I had spent my own nickel to get there they felt the need to to pay for my expenses and sent me a nice check !..What a sign of quality, This management team really sold me with that move But It gets better, I was thrilled to get a call and email offering me the next dispatch Position a few days later this is scheduled for later this year.

I cant say enough about the quality of folks working there and I am happy to be aboard!!!!

English,

Let me know next time you're in Vegas!!! Now that I'll be home more often, I should be here!!!:)

I'll do it! It'll be soon so be prepared. I only fly to three places - Vegas, San Fran and Cabo (you think I'm joking?)

Break a leg, chperplt! :D

I feel like I have been following your career like watching a reality TV show...first it was Colgan, then Comair, then Alegiant. I thought you were working your way throught the alphabet, but I doubt you would have gone to Cargo Carriers Inc next... :D

Good luck...I don't know anything about Alegiant, but I hope you have a good time there.
