Just received the July issue of Aviation International News---Some interesting Compass info.

The magazine is discussing the additional range of the new E175AR's which Compass will receive 26 AFTER December 2008. Until then Compass will receive 10 LR versions of the E175.

I was under the impression that they would receive two airplanes per month for all of 08. This makes it look like they are going to operate 10 jets for the next 17 months. What gives???? I hope this is just a typo.

10 x 5 capt. per plane = 50 captains, through late 08!
Better find out the facts before going there, and getting stuck right seat for 18 months!

Thanks for that...

Interesting...I wonder if they could be talking the options? Compass' website still says 36 airplanes on property by December 2008.

Saw that too, think it's a typo. Should be 'UNTIL' nstead of 'AFTER' or '2007' instead of '2008'.

The editor and I are tight. No, really, it's just logical, same total qty of A/C is mentioned. You never know with new A/C though, deliveries could slow down for some reason.
