Are there any current or former employees of Commutair that could shed some light on this company? What are typical trips like, average upgrade times (I know, it varies...), schedules, etc? How would you describe the company culture? Is it true that the pilots are non-unionized, and could this cause problems for future employment elsewhere?

dude,

I worked there for almost 2 years. They gave me a lot of experiance and multi time. Long day trips 7-8-9 legs some with 4-5 hour sits somewhere. The overnights are all min rest and getting worse. Dont get all worked up about the union/politics blah blah blah. Its not worth it. If you go there, because you have no other options, go there for the multi time and then get out. Its just not worth a lot more than that. I talk to my friends still there and upgrade times have gone way up and for 18 an hour, thats a long upgrade. Good luck-d
