I was in Witchita recently and I saw two CommutAir 1900's on the Raytheon ramp minus all logos except for the N000CA on the tail. Lease turn ins? How many planes are expected to get turned in total? Anything replacing them? Just Curious!

Commutair recently (March) returned two aircraft, N834CA and N843CA. These aircraft were not equiped with EGPWS. Plus with our downsizing in ALB it was believed that we did not need the aircraft, so it was decided to return them and not pay to put in EGPWS.

Now with our BOS expansion we are getting short on aircraft and crews. Constant rumors of cabin class aircraft. But after four years of them being "right around the corner", nobody is holding their breath anymore.

I had the pleasure of flying that machine very soon after "repairs" had been made. Didn't give me that warm, fuzzy feeling ;).

Sorry, Mano lost his bet and is spending the cabinet money on buying dinner.
