Just saw a clip on Fox News about how "lie detecting glasses" may be put in to use to help catch those plotting terrorist acts. The technology was originally developed in Israel. I couldn't find a link on the Fox website, but I thought this might bring some interesting comments from the board...

Careful, I'm watching you!

I forgot to mention that these would be used at airport security.

Hmmm....wonder if they use the same type of lenses that Sony had out a few years ago that could see through clothes? That would be a twist!

Forget about the lie detector glasses, I want to hear more about these glasses that see though cloths. Where can I get a pair, spring break is coming up when all the cute young girls come into town.

I remember the "X-Ray Glasses" I wanted to order from the back of the comic books. Do these new ones work on the same principle?

And do they have that cool spiral black line on the lenses?

Tape on the nose piece?

Man, I WANT a pair....

...but I'm lying. You'd know that if you were wearing the glasses.:p

ShawnC,

Well you know they say "Sony is no baloney." Actually they mistakenly had these lenses on some of their video cameras. There was a recall to correct the problem but not surprisingly not many were returned.

Unfortunately I wasn't one of the few that got my hands on one. Now just have to settle for near NVG capability.
