Combat zone tax exclusion

Simple question. On my LES, I get hit for federal income tax, and FICA tax. Does the tax exclusion cover both of these, or just the fed income tax? Thanks guys!

Just Federal Income Tax, up to a certain amount.

FICA is social security and medicare. You won't be exempt from that.
